From Code to Cork – The Story Behind Druvdetaljer
I know exactly how it feels to sit there with a pile of books, hundreds of appellations to keep track of, and a map that just won’t stick in your mind. It was precisely there, in the midst of my own studies, that the idea for Druvdetaljer was born.
As a web developer and graphic designer, I am programmed to seek structure and logic. As a wine enthusiast, I am driven by a passion for details – the subtle nuances that distinguish one village from another, or one soil type from the next. When I started studying wine myself, I quickly realized there was a lack of modern, interactive tools to effectively visualize and memorize the locations of complex wine regions.

My Journey
My interest in wine truly awakened a few years ago and has since been an intense journey through education and tastings. Today, I combine my studies at The Wine Hub and preparations for the WSET Diploma with building the tools I wished I had had from day one.
My passion for sharing wine knowledge also extends beyond the screen – I am a co-founder of two active wine clubs where my colleague and I regularly organize and lead wine tastings.
Through Druvdetaljer, I want to offer you, whether you’re studying to be a sommelier or just an “unusually curious amateur,” a shortcut to knowledge. My interactive maps are created with a nerd’s love for detail and a designer’s eye for clarity.
My Qualifications
WSET Level 3: Completed 2024 (Passed with Distinction). Goal is WSET Diploma Fall 2026.
Munskänkarna’s 2-grade: Completed February 2025. Now I lead a study group for the 3-grade level.
Sommelier Training: Ongoing studies at The Wine Hub in Gothenburg (graduation June 2026).
